Although I am a typical loner in daily life, my consciousness of belonging to the invisible community of those who strive for truth, beauty, and justice has preserved me from feeling isolated. ♥ Albert Einstein ♥

Miracles DO happen!
It truly is Miracle Gro !
The matriarch of the family recently underwent major surgery. A few days before the procedure she began to get her 'ducks' in order. A few of those 'waddlers' were two tomato plants and two egg plants that were given to her. Now Moi' has managed to destroy even the hardiest silk plants produced by NASA. Remembering my Mom tell a story about my Aunt Kat who lived in Arkansas on a plot of land no bigger than a 2 car garage......I set about trying to re-create her miracle garden.
Aunt Kat tossed out bags of potting soil and planted her 'country girl roots' right in the bag.
Mom said Aunt Kat would be proud of me.

I have found in life that if you want a miracle you first need to do whatever it is you can do - if that's to plant, then plant; if it is to read, then read; if it is to change, then change; if it is to study, then study; if it is to work, then work; whatever you have to do. And then you will be well on your way of doing the labor that works miracles. - Jim Rohn
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. - Albert Einstein
Impossible situations can become possible miracles.
Robert H. Schuller
To me every hour of the light and dark is a miracle. Every cubic inch of space is a miracle.
Walt Whitman
Out of difficulties grow miracles.
Jean De La Bruyere
I am realistic - I expect miracles.
Wayne Dyer
Miracles are not contrary to nature, but only contrary to what we know about nature.

Off the Art Grid - Church on the Rocks
P.E.N. Paints a True Tale from off the Trail ................................................................. ☺
Sunday Service on Douglas Lake began as a rocky day on the water and I decided I needed to beach my little yellow Yak.
I was on unfamiliar waters and apprehensive about paddling around one last bend toward the dock.....the jet ski's and pleasure boaters were putting in and starting their after Mass partying.
It was time to wet a worm and let nature and the tide wash over me for a bit....it was turning into another blistering day in East Tennessee.
I had what I thought was another nibble on my line....
I gave it a jerk and felt the hook take hold.....sigh.......my little paddling pole arched as I reeled in what I knew was a stick fish.....I literally laughed out loud because just the day before I had read this entry on another blog.
I had reeled in a stick gun very similar to the photo shown in the blog post. Now I am an official gun toting Tennessean........it's a keeper.

I finally made it around the bend and look what shows up on the boat ramp.....
I told them I was packin'.......
....Packin' a very sick sense of humor, and my contraband.....
I Belong among the Wild Flowers (Tom Petty)
....that song had been playing over and over in my head all day long.....
I belong among the wild flowers...NOT BEHIND BARS!
They let me go...... ☺
I had my church service with my God on a rocky shore by the lake. He is forever sending us little signs if we only take the time to notice them.
